A Day Full of Suprises

Hello again!;D Well, today's been interesting. It's been full of helping people, realising alot of truth and fun.

My day, technically started with me trying to cheer up my friend. She'd been self harming, she was depressed, and on the verge of suicide. She was wondering what her purpose on this world was, so I told her; "Look, you're 13, your purpose in life is to have fun, laugh with friends, make new friends, try different experiences, go through shit, and go through good stuff. When you're older, you'll have an important role in society, whether you're a nurse, or a hairdresser, who knows, but you shouldn't be asking questions of 'why am I here, what's the point' at such an early age, you should be asking 'what time's so and so coming over?' and 'what've I got for christmas this year?" Personally, I was quite impressed I came up with that dead on the spot, but it helped her, and I'm happy:) Went to bed, and woke up at 12 (thank fuck, I've been dieing for a lay in all week...), got dressed, and went out to the skatepark with my friends. I tryed testing out my new board (extreme boards if any of you skate fans are concerned), and it's a fucking beast! Just learning some new tricks on ramps, then we got bored and went down to the school for a skate, (which again, was fucking beast) we skated around, and decided to go on my trampoline at my house. Round about half 5, everyone went home, and I came onto my laptop. But, talking to my friend who came over, he showed me a video that really opened my eyes abit. It was a scene from the last Rocky film, and Rocky Balboa says to his son "no one is gunna hit as hard as life, but it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you get hit, and keep moving forward, and that's how winning is done." Now that to me, is just breath taking, I personally know that life can hit you hard, and it can be a bitch, but thinking that the only way to win things in life, is to keep moving forward, is just something that can put a smile on my face instantly.
